I really like Petra Kvitova in today's matchup. Kvitova leads 5-3 in the series. She has won the last four meetings, wins in Dubai Feb. 2013… 6-3 6-4 on hard courts ….. Montreal Aug. 2012…3-6 6-2 6-3 on hard court …… Australia Hpoman Cup.. Dec. 2011 7-6 3-6 6-4 Indoor hard court and Beijing China hard court 6-4 6-2 in OCT. 2011 .
Petra is a lefty with more weapons and a strong power game, her power and serve is better than the Wozniacki's consistency and pusher type game.
Carolina Wozniacki has not beaten any one ranked in the top 22 since she beat Anqelique kerber in March at Indian wells . She lost in the final to Sharapova 6-2 6-2.
On hard courts this summer she lost in the round of 32 to Sorana Cirstea in a tight 3 setter last week and she has won two matches this week against shai Peng ( 32) 6-1 6-1 and yesterday against Monica Niculescu (43) 6-4 6-3.
This play is more against Wozniacki ….. her recent form and play the last few years and how she struggles mightily against top 10 players, having said all of that …. this is WTA tennis and anything can happen but I like this play. GLTA
